Sr. citizens 62 and older get $5 off general admission WITH ID/PROOF
PORT ROYAL, Pa. – Port Royal Speedway will present Locust Grove Retirement Sr. Citizens Night/$1 Hot Dog Night this Saturday, August 20 at 7 pm.
Adult general admission for the show is $15 with Sr. Citizens ages 62 and older receiving a $5 discount on general admission ONLY WITH VALID ID/PROOF OF AGE. Students ages 12 – 18 are priced at just $7.
Hot dogs will be available all night long for the knockout price of just $1.
Racing action on the night will include the Weikert’s Livestock 410 sprints, the Aumiller’s Insurance super late models, the River Valley Builder’s 305 sprints and the Len Krautheim Auto Sales xtreme stocks.
Saturday’s show will be the last regular show of the season before the oval launches into its own speedweek of sorts, kicking off the 162nd annual Juniata County Fair on Saturday, September 3.
September 3 will see the oval host the prestigious Butch Renninger 33 for late models, sanctioned by the UFO Championship Late Model Series.
The Renninger 33 pays $3,300 to win and $300 to start the 33-lap main event. The 410 sprints, econo late models and xtreme stocks are also on the card.
The fair races continue on Monday, September 5 with the annual Labor Day Fair Classic for the sprint cars before the two-day Tuscarora 50 races sanctioned by Tony Stewart’s Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions Sprints on September 9 and 10.
Sunday night, September 4 will find the oval hosting the Interstate Truck and Tractor Pullers series featuring modified, mod-turbo “smokers,” and pro farm tractors along with 4 x 4 diesel pickup trucks and pro stock semi tractor trailers.
