PORT ROYAL, Pa. – Just two weeks remain until the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series invades Port Royal Speedway and advanced reserved tickets continue to be on sale via the World of Outlaws website.

Presented by Nittany Media, the October 15 World of Outlaws date at Port Royal Speedway carries an October 16 raindate.

Reserved seats for this year’s show are available in rows 11 – 19 of the original aluminum grandstand, sections a – g, priced at $35 each, regardless of age.

Rows 1 – 10 in sections a - g of the original aluminum grandstand will be open, first-come, first-serve, general admission seating for the big race this year along with all other facility seating including those seats in the newly installed grandstand for 2016. General admission prices for the October 15 event are as follows: Ages 0 - 11, Free; Ages 12 - 18, $20; Adults, $30.

General admission seats will be offered on a first come, first serve basis on the day of the show.

In order to purchase reserved seats, fans can visit www.worldofoutlaws.com/tickets or call the ticket hotline at 844 DIRT TIX (347-8849).

Pit Admission will be $40.

NOTE: Any port royal season seats that have been purchased for the 2016 racing season will be honored/good for the Oct. 15 WoO show.

Any person that purchased a season admission pass at any time for 2016 has his/her general admission paid for the Oct. 15 race. If that person wishes to obtain a seat in a reserved area for Oct. 15, he/she will have to pay a $5 up-charge on the day of the event to obtain one of those seats if any are still available. No up-charge seats can be purchased prior to the day of the event. HOWEVER, if that person is so inclined and wants to ensure ownership of a certain seat in the reserved area, he/she has the option to purchase a reserved seat/admission for the event at full admission price. OR, he/she can attempt to obtain seating in the unreserved general admission portion of the grandstand on the day of the race.

Port Royal Speedway Banquet Tickets On Sale October 3, Dinner And Awards Slated November 19

PORT ROYAL, Pa. – Tickets for the upcoming Port Royal Speedway awards banquet coming up on Saturday, November 19 will go on sale Monday, October 3.

The banquet will honor all 2016 track champions with an awards dinner held just off of the speedway backstretch, at the Port Royal Community Building located along Fourth St.

Tickets are available for a price of $30 each. Deadline for ordering tickets is Friday, November 11.

Orders for banquet tickets may be placed by mail with payment via check or money order, mailed to and made payable to: Port Royal Speedway, 308 W. 8th St., Port Royal, PA 17082.

Orders may also be placed by phone during office hours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays by calling 717.527.2303.

Honored at this year’s banquet will be 410 sprint champion Doug Esh, late model champion Andy Haus econo late model champion Devin Hart, xtreme stock champion Pete Leister and the 305 sprint champion.

Blue Colllar Classic offers 305 sprints, xtreme stocks, limited lates and mid-atlantic mods

IMCA RaceSaver Interregional 305 Sprint Event Posts Purse Of Over $15,000!

Biggest race in east set for IMCA 305 sprints

PORT ROYAL, Pa. – Port Royal Speedway will present the 5th annual Blue Collar Classic featuring the Keystone RaceSaver Interregional Challenge for IMCA 305 sprint cars this Saturday, October 8 at 5 pm. The race is the biggest event for IMCA 305 sprint cars in the east with this years total 305 sprint posted purse topping $15,000 including $1,400 to win the main event and a payout for a special Founder’s Cup race for all non-qualifiers.

Hosted by the PASS – PA Sprint Series region of RaceSaver 305s, the Keystone RaceSaver Challenge brings together multiple IMCA 305 sprint regions to compete with the PASS drivers including the TSRS – Tri State RaceSaver region, CRSA – Capitol Region Sprint Agency, VSS – Virginia Sprint Series, and the Laurel Highlands region.

Also in action at the Blue Collar Classic will be limited late models (355/358 engines), xtreme stocks and mid-atlantic modifieds.

The limited late models and the xtreme stocks will both race for $1,000 to win their feature events.

Gates for the big show open at 3 pm with adult general admission priced at $15 and students ages 12 –18 priced at $7.

Currently, some 54 sprint teams have pre-registered for the big IMCA 305 sprint car event.

Tow money of $100 has been posted for the 305 sprint cars.

Jeff Miller of Huntingdon is the defending Port Royal Keystone RaceSaver Challenge champion having taken the event in 2015.

Jeff Geiges of Hamilton, NJ., scored in 2014 with Jake Waters winning in 2013 and Sean Campbell taking the inaugural event in 2012.

Waters will help announce the 305-sprint portion of this Saturday’s program, still recovering from critical burn injuries sustained in a racing accident in July

Special prizes and contingencies will be awarded to all sprint car teams who compete in the event with some special fan prizes up for grabs as well.

Top prize for fans will be a flat screen TV.

The conclusion of the Keystone RaceSaver Challenge will also crown the 2016 Port Royal River Valley Builders 305 sprint series champion.

Port Royal Speedway returns to action on October 15 with the World of Outlaws sprint cars at 5 pm followed by the final show of the season on October 22, Open Wheel Madness featuring twin 30-lap features for the 410 sprints and the URC sprints.
